The Dr. Lippert Quality Management Group was founded in 2002 by Dr. Felix Lippert as a spin-off of the agricultural faculty of the University of Bonn. The former head of the Department of Post-Harvest Physiology and Technology began to actively contribute his extensive expertise to the fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain.
Product quality and food safety for fresh fruit and vegetables are mutually dependent and make up modern quality assurance today. These two aspects are brought together under the umbrella of the Group through tailored services. As part of daily national and international quality controls, the knowledge and expertise contributes to the sustainable improvement within the supply-chain. The aim is to always be at the cutting edge of development in terms of technology, innovation and food safety. With this holistic service package focused on one of the most important food groups, the Group is the market leader in this segment.
